It is increasingly recognised that Europe’s ocean and seas are under threat. Against the backdrop of the Green Deal, Europeans need to ensure the sustainable use of marine ecosystems, both economically and socially. This policy paper highlights three priorities and thirteen recommendations to revamp EU ocean governance.
